Key Purpose:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems.
Key Accountabilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and systems according to project requirements.
Utilize industry-leading software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed designs and engineering drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.
Conduct feasibility studies and perform risk assessments to identify potential design flaws.
Generate and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring seamless integration of designs into production.
Conduct design reviews and implement feedback to continuously improve designs.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technology, contributing to our culture of innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in mechanical design, with a minimum of 5 10 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is required, with additional familiarity with software such as Revit, Creo, and Inventor considered a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
